It’s official, Lindsay Lohan is married to Bader Shammas. The couple confirmed the news in a social media post last Friday when the actress referred to Shammas as her “husband.”

“🎂❤️🥰I am the luckiest woman in the world. Not because I need a man, but because he found me and knew that I wanted to find happiness and grace, all at the same time,” Lohan captioned a photo with her partner. “I am stunned that this is my husband. My life and my everything. ❤️every woman should feel like this everyday 💖🙏.”

The couple had been dating for three years after she reportedly met the man in Dubai. Lohan announced her engagement in November 2021. He has often been publicly tagged on Lohan’s social media but his personal account remains private. So, er, who is he?

Shammas private Facebook account says he is from Kuwait while his LinkedIn (which has since been taken down) details he studied at the University of South Florida for a degree in mechanical engineering from 2007 to 2010. He later attended the University of Tampa for his Bachelor of Science in finance from 2010 to 2012. The 35-year-old is now the assistant vice president at Credit Suisse.

The Parent Trap star teased details of her nuptials to Extra in February, noting that the wedding would be more chill. “I’m more low-key,” she said. “Even on my birthday, I want to make sure everyone else is good. And then I can be okay. So, I’ll be more like that. I’m looking at destinations. I’ve already started talking to a friend of mine about the dress. But I want to do things right and I want to pace everything.”

Lohan did add that she wanted multiple looks for the big day because that’s “the best part.”

Now we just patiently wait for the photos. And any footage at all of the actress dancing.
