The countdown to ELVIS will finally begin this week with the world premiere at the 75th annual Cannes Film Festival. Ahead of the highly-anticipated release on June 23, Warner Bros. has shared a new trailer to the buzzy biopic which stars a new single from Doja Cat.

The second official trailer features new footage from the forthcoming film as well as the singer’s newly-released single “Vegas,” a catchy hip-hop-esque sample of Elvis Presley’s famous track “Hound Dog.” She joins the likes of Australia’s dance duo PNAU, alt-band Tame Impala and Kodi Smit-McPhee who have all collaborated on the upcoming soundtrack.

The film is directed by Baz Luhrmann and stars Austin Butler, Tom Hanks, Olivia DeJonge, Helen Thomson, Luke Bracey, Richard Roxburgh, Natasha Bassett and so many more, all decked out in Prada and Miu Miu designs. The film will cover the life of Presley but as Luhrmann explained in the past, it isn’t a traditional biopic and portrays three “versions” of the King of Rock.

“You know, I haven’t actually finished it,” Luhrmann confessed at CinemaCon last month. “If it feels a little like a superhero film, it is. Elvis is kind of the original superhero. He rises so high, then finds his kryptonite and falls so low and then a beautiful, powerful tragedy ensues.”
