In 2023, a study published by Chemist4U, conducted by English researchers, which revealed that 7.4 million workers in the UK have masturbated at work. And whether you’re in an open-space or in a closed office doesn’t seem to change the fact that there’s a high chance your colleagues are in the habit of taking “pleasure” breaks in the company’s bathrooms.

According to the study, men 25 to 34-years-old were more likely to masturbate at work compared to any other age group; And married people do it three times a week compared to single people who reportedly masturbate “only once a week on average at work.”

Although these are certainly some surprising findings, this practice does indeed have numerous positive benefits on employees’ moods.

The report indicates that this practice significantly reduces employees’ stress. According to the study, “24% revealed that it improves their mood and 19% underscored that masturbation increases their concentration.”

And it’s all thanks to endorphins! These ‘happiness hormones’ have stress-relieving and soothing virtues. And after indulging in a little self-pleasure, even at the office, we’re ready and more motivated than ever to face the rest of the day.
