Euphoria actress Sydney Sweeney attended the 2022 LACMA Art + Film Gala in Los Angeles on Saturday evening in a couture confection that emulated a whimsical ballerina.
Styled by Molly Dickson, The White Lotus starlet opted for a petal pink look from Giambattista Valli’s Fall/Winter 2022 Couture collection. The dress featuring voluminous floral tulle sleeves, a plunging neckline and a pleated mini skirt. Further emphasizing the ballet-inspired aesthetic, the Emmy-nominated actress teamed her statement dress with petal pink stockings.
On the carpet, she wore a pair of glittering silver peep-toe platform pumps, but on Instagram, she staged a ballerina-inspired shoot and slipped into a pair of pink ballet shoes.
Hairstylist Glen Coco Oropeza fashioned Sweeney’s bronde tresses into a ballerina-worthy slicked back, side-parted chignon. Celebrity makeup artist Melissa Hernandez kept the Barbarella actress’ glam soft and feminine, with touches pink, plus voluminous lashes. Sweeney completed her look with a ballet slipper pink manicure by Zola Ganzorigt and stud earrings by Anabela Chan.
She captioned her Instagram post, shot by photographer Dennis Leupold, “last night, feeling haute 🩰.”
Sweeney also shared a sentimental collection of old photos from her childhood on her Instagram Stories, with pics of Sweeney as a little ballerina on the stage. Sweeney captioned one photo, “She’d like my pink dress.”
The same evening, Sweeney slipped out of her Giambattista Valli dress and into a sheer look for the Armani Beauty Supports Acqua for Life event at the Praz-Delavallade.
Keeping her hair and makeup intact, Sweeney wore a blue printed bandeau under a glistening mesh scoop neck tank top, teamed with a sheer maxi skirt for the occasion.
