After dating for just over four years Suki Waterhouse and Robert Pattinson have finally made their red carpet debut. The couple traveled to Giza, Egypt where creative director Kim Jones presented the Dior Fall 2023 Menswear collection.

The couple walked the red carpet and sat front row hand-in-hand and without breaking their smiles. Pattinson wore an ivory lounge suit with a turtleneck sweater and chunky black boots. Waterhouse wore an ethereal rosy-colored sheer gown with ruffled bell sleeves over a slip, and paired with her signature Mary Janes.

Pattinson and Waterhouse first sparked romance rumors back in July 2018 when they were spotted kissing on the streets of London. They’ve kept their relationship largely private since then, often arriving to events at different times or omitting from walking the red carpet at all. In fact, the last time they were captured in an official capacity together was at a Dior event at Paris Fashion Week in 2020.

In a 2019 interview with the Sunday TimesPattinson discussed why they prefer to keep things more secretive. “If you let people in, it devalues what love is. If a stranger on the street asked you about your relationship, you’d think it extremely rude,” he told the publication. “If you put up a wall it ends up better. I can’t understand how someone can walk down the street holding hands, and it’s the same as when I do it and a hundred people are taking your photo. The line between when you’re performing and when you’re not will eventually get washed away and you’ll go completely mad.”
