Suki Waterhouse is quickly becoming one of Britain’s most exciting It-girls. This weekend the songwriter and model attended the exclusive opening of Serpenti Metamorphosis, an exhibition commissioned by Bulgari at Saatchi Gallery in London. Joined by the likes of Lashana Lynch and Becky Hill, Waterhouse channelled seventies glamour for the red carpet event after debuting wispy curtain bangs in June.

The singer paired voluminous curls and a glossy red lip with a vampy tulle Dior gown and Bulgari Serpenti choker. Making the ensemble distinctly true to her personal style – an amalgamation of different style eras and trends – the 30-year-old finished the look with sparkly Mary Janes.

The lavish affair marks the first of many events planned for 2023, the year of the 75th anniversary of the Bulgari Serpenti motif. Celebrating the Maison’s legendary snake icon, the innovative AI data sculpture, commissioned by the jeweller and realised by the award-winning new media artist and director Refik Anadol, represents the second chapter of a journey which started last year in Piazza Duomo in Milan.

To complete the immersive experience, the setup is accompanied Bulgari Serpenti archive images and sketches in dialogue with an exclusive selection of Serpenti jewellery and watch creations spanning from the 1940’s to the present day. Finally, a fragrance developed by artificial intelligence in collaboration with perfume designer Firmenich floats throughout the gallery space.

The exhibition will take place at Saatchi Gallery in London from November 25 until December 23 in gallery 3. Free entry is available by booking tickets through the Bulgari website, here. If you’re looking for a luxurious culture fix a little closer to home, both SEE LV and Gucci Archetypes is currently open in Sydney.
