Even during the height of lockdown, my appetite for beautiful wares never waned. It certainly brought new meaning to the notion, “All dressed up, with nowhere to go,” but as we have learned to live with a new reality, even the smallest of gestures – be it dressing up for a dinner party at home or a small gathering of friends – finding small pockets of style has been a welcomed respite from loungewear.

Sure, in Australia our daily lives seem all but untouched currently, but no matter where you reside in the world there is an opportunity to treat oneself. After all, the seasons are slowly changing and your wardrobe is silently begging for an update. And amid fashion month abroad, there is no better time than the now to indulge in a new piece.

Bottega Veneta – The triangle Bag

At the helm of Bottega Veneta, Daniel Lee has designed yet another ‘It’ bag this season. Pulled from the house’s Wardrobe 01 collection, the Triangle Bag is crafted from buttery calfskin leather and, with a slouchy silhouette and clean ‘V’ handle, is set to be a new icon for the brand. The top handle style is also available in a bright sunshine yellow, deep bottle green and an almond iteration.

SIR. X GABRIELLE PENFOLD – SPRING/SUMMER 2021

Australian-based apparel label, SIR., has ushered in yet another beautiful capsule for Spring/Summer 2021. This month, the brand tapped close friend and Sydney creative, Gabrielle Penfold. The artist conceptualized motifs of a rising sun, lemons, figs, and abstract lines which were initially painted on canvas with oil paint. It was later reworked onto a sustainable linen blend to form a 12-piece capsule of accessories and ready-to-wear, even featuring buttons made from recycled cotton.

Dior – ID Sneakers

Not even the French fashion house of Dior could look past the world’s fascination with the humble sneaker. This month, creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri has designed a new line dubbed ‘Dior ID.’ Drawing inspiration from vintage styles and modern influences, the Dior name ushers in yet another footwear icon. The ID Sneaker upper is made from supple calfskin leather, an adhesive tongue and Dior ID branding. In addition and a nod to its heritage, the notched rubber sole features a star, Christian Dior’s lucky symbol.

coach – pillow tabby bag

Ask any GRAZIA editor and they will agree: the Coach Pillow Tabby Bag was love at first sight. The New York giant’s iconic Tabby Shoulder Bag – a modern take on an archival 1970s Coach design – has been updated. From March, the sweet top handle accessory will be available in six playful colors and crafted from soft Napa leather – we only wish it were bigger and in pillow-sized form.
