Film producer and former husband of Emily Ratajkowski, 42-year-old Sebastian Bear-McClard, is facing multiple allegations of sexual misconduct.
According to Variety, one now 24-year-old woman says she was just 17 years old when Bear McClard contacted her on Instagram to play a minor role in the Safdie Brothers-directed 2017 crime thriller Good Time.
With no acting experience, the woman says she accepted the role as she was excited to meet the film’s star Robert Pattinson. But when she arrived on set, she found herself naked and performing the scene in front of a man who wasn’t Pattinson but a stand-in actor who had been released from prison prior to be being hired.
“[I] was utterly stunned and felt terrified,” the woman told Variety, as part of a legal dispute involving Bear-McClard. “My distress only worsened when out of nowhere, [an actor] whispered in my ear if ‘he could stick it in’ while the cameras rolled. I said ‘no.’”
Not long after the production ended, the woman says she began sleeping with Bear-McClard. She was 17.
Another woman, who was 18 at the time, says she met the then-married producer on the set of Uncut Gems. She says he started “grooming” her via Instagram, citing his position in the film industry as an avenue to get her work.
“Sebastian and I started kissing,” the woman told Variety in reference to an incident which took place at Bear-McClard’s home that he shared with Ratajkowski at the time. “Things escalated and then, without asking for my consent, Sebastian inserted himself inside me without using a condom.”
In July of 2022, after being made aware of multiple allegations, the Safdie Brothers terminated Bear-McClard’s ties with production company Elara, of which they has founded with Bear-McClard.
Ratajkowski filed for divorce after three years of marriage in September of 2022.
Ratajkowski, 31, has declined to comment. She and Bear-McClard were married in February 2018 after knowing each other just two weeks. Ratajkowski is fighting for sole custody of the former couple’s son 2-year-old son Sylvester.
