It’s true, celebrities really know how to Halloween and it seems their offspring inherit a certain sense of extravagance too. Just before Halloween wraps up for another spooky season, Kourtney Kardashian had one more costume to brag. Not for herself but for nine-year-old daughter, Penelope Disick. On social media the reality star shared pictures of Penelope dressed as Cher from the ’90s rom-com, Clueless.
While there are many iconic looks from the fashion-fuelled movie, Penelope opted for the classic yellow checked blazer and pleated skirt. It was finished with a blonde wig (or is that her hair dyed blonde?!), white knee-high socks and slightly too big Mary Jane shoes. The family’s dog was even treated to a spot of blush for effect.
Kardashian captioned the post, “As if”. In the comments section Penelope’s father and ex to Kardashian Scott Disick, quoted the film, “O Cher, don’t forget she can’t keep driving her jeep without her drivers license.”
Kardashian and Disick’s six-year-old son attended trick-or-treating as the terrifying Pennywise from It.
The Poosh founder later shared a snap of the family trick-or-treating in their neighborhood from October 31. While Kardashian first appeared on social media with Travis Barker to recreate the True Romance movie poster, on this particular evening she opted to portray the Kim to Barker’s Edward Scissorhands. The likeness is almost uncanny.
The last we heard from Disick, he was “distancing himself” from the Kardashian’s after Barker’s highly-publicized proposal to Kardashian.
“(Scott) understands that it’s not Kourtney’s job or Travis’s job to make him okay with this,” a source told People at the time. “It’s his job, and if he’s going to co-parent with Kourtney, which he has been, he has to process this and make his peace with it.”
The insider continued, “It’s not about them, it’s not about Kourtney. It’s about him needing some time to process this and deal with it on his own, without them. He’ll come around soon.”
And it seems he is finally coming around.
