Rihanna never fails to provide with her maternity style, whether she’s on the red carpet in skintight Alaïa or satisfying those pregnancy pasta cravings for date night with A$AP Rocky, every time the singer and Fenty Beauty founder steps out of the house, there’s a new lesson to be learnt, including, it seems, for something as simple as a supermarket run.
While out in New York City, Rihanna was photographed popping into Target, wearing a low-key outfit made up of jeans, which she styled undone, and a white bodysuit, dressed up in her signature way with an oversized fur coat and chunky gold jewelry.
Her signature street style twist came courtesy of her New York Yankees blue cap and Timberland boots.
The fact that Rihanna is in New York City right now is not lost on the fashion crowd: the Met Gala is taking place on Monday, and though she hasn’t explicitly said she’ll be attending he did spark speculation with a recent trip to Paris (this year’s theme is honoring the late Chanel designer Karl Lagerfeld) and her choice to wear a vintage Fendi patchwork jacket designed by Karl Lagerfeld there.
