For anyone who thought nothing could top Rihanna’s pregnancy announcement bump-baring outfit, the superstar has done it again, and again, and again — continuously surprising and delighting fans with her sexy take on maternity style.
She recently said on the red carpet that she’s using fashion to have fun throughout her pregnancy. “I’m trying to enjoy it as much as I could,” she told Entertainment Tonight. “And fashion is one of my favorite things, so, you know, we’re defying what it even means to be pregnant and maternal. It can get uncomfortable at times and so you can dress the part and pretend.”
For her latest stop-and-stare outfit, the star arrived at the Gucci show alongside boyfriend rapper A$AP Rocky in Milan, sticking to her signature (exposed belly with jeweled pendants) while still bringing another fresh and fun angle to her dressing. This time she went with a latex crop top with lace long-sleeves and black pants embroidered with a dragon, adding a high-shine silver cap with long tassels and a fuzzy purple topper to the look.
She accessorized with her go-to pendant crosses (which she’s been wearing throughout her pregnancy), choosing an estate cross from Briony Raymond, made of tanzanite and aquamarine. For A$AP, he went for it in the accessory department too, pairing his black jacket with fingerless gloves from Gucci’s collaboration with Adidas and a Gucci logo-adorned suitcase.
As expected at Gucci, the show, titled #ExquisiteGucci (which you can watch here), attracted a slew of stars who joined Rihanna and A$AP Rocky in the front row, including Serena Williams, Jared Leto, Daisy Edgar-Jones, Joshua Jackson, Jodie Turner-Smith and many more. Friend of Gucci’s creative director Alessandro Michele, Leto went for it (as he always does) in a black and white checkered-print tuxedo with matching cummerbund and oversize bowtie.
Chiara Ferragni
The Italian star almost bared it all with a pale pink high-shine oversize blazer and matching high-waisted trouser with nothing underneath, save for some star-shaped pasties. She topped the look with a huge floral lapel and tiara and deemed herself “Gucci queen” on Instagram.
Daisy Edgar-Jones
After pairing her Fendi suit with a matching bra underneath earlier this week, the actress continued her suiting streak at Gucci, in another white suit with matching vest and maroon velvet neck tie.
Jodie Turner-Smith & Joshua Jackson
Joshua Jackson and Jodie Turner-Smith were another cute couple on the carpet. At one point, Jackson (in a baby blue suit) helped his wife adjust her lace, ruffled dress while posing together on the carpet, like the dashing gentleman he is.
