The Royal family have been busy planning another regal celebration, with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle innocuously organizing the second birthday party for their daughter, Princess Lilibet.

The youngest member of the royal family turned 2 on June 4, with British tabloids reporting the family-oriented fête a “celeb-packed all-American bash.” Perhaps the Californian equivalent to dignitary-laden £100 million pound coronation of King Charles III.

Princess Lilibet spent her first birthday at Frogmore Cottage in the throes of the late Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee. It was on this trip to London where Princess Lilibet met her estranged family, including the late Queen and King Charles.

It’s unknown if Lilibet has ever met her cousins, Prince George, 9, Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince Louis, 5, in person.

As per royal correspondent Jennie Bond, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have planned a larger affair than Lilibet’s small-scale garden party.

“This year it will no doubt be in all American affair at their Montecito mansion in the Californian sunshine,” Bond reported. “I would expect to see a sprinkling of celebrities and a laid-back party, which hopefully will include some other toddlers.”

Bond also made a point of noting that the Princess will be celebrating in her “home country.”

Prince Harry’s brother, Prince William of Wales, or his father won’t be acknowledging Lilibet’s birthday on social media, however royal experts anticipate the King to make a transatlantic FaceTime to his granddaughter.

“The royal family don’t mark the birthdays of non-working members,” revealed an anonymous source. “They of course wish Lilibet a very happy birthday but nothing will be put out on any channels.”

King Charles did not publicly wish Prince Archie a happy birthday, which took place on the same day as the coronation. It was reported that the King toasted Prince Archie, raising a glass to celebrate “those who weren’t there… wherever they are.”

Given the fractured relationship between Prince Harry and his family, we don’t anticipate senior members of the royal family to openly wish the Sussex children a happy birthday in the future.
