It seems tensions are still very high for the feuding brothers, Prince William and Prince Harry. According to details from Harry and Meghan Markle’s bombshell Netflix doc Harry & Meghan and Harry’s tell-all memoir Spare, the two have not been on good terms for quite some time. In his book, the younger brother revealed that he was allegedly attacked by William in a physical altercation due to an argument about Meghan. Harry also claimed William discouraged him from marrying his now-wife.
It’s been reported there is a line of communication open between Harry and his father, but not with his brother. Harry attended the coronation of their father, King Charles III on May 6 and his path never seemed to cross with his older brother. Harry arrived solo while Meghan stayed home in California to celebrate their son Archie’s 4th birthday.
Harry was seated three rows back with his cousins Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice and their husbands, Jack Brooksbank and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi respectively. After the ceremony, Harry didn’t participate in the procession to Buckingham Palace or appear on the balcony with his family — reportedly, only working royals are allowed to stand on the balcony. Harry looked smiley while talking to his cousins as he exited Westminster Abbey before getting into a car while the rest of his family rode in carriages through the procession.
From the looks of it, tensions are still high between Harry and his immediate family.
Harry and Meghan stepped away from their royal duties in 2020, but attention followed as they moved their life to California and shared details about what drove them apart from the royal family in their Netflix doc and Harry’s memoir.
The Duke spoke about his relationship with his father, King Charles III, and his brother, William, the Prince of Wales. “I would like to get my father back,” Prince Harry said. “I would like to have my brother back.”
