Let us set the scene with clear blue skies on a sunny Sunday afternoon out East. As the music-loving crowd arrived at Francis S. Gabreski Airport, you could feel the energy — and of course the party — starting right away. From general admission all the way to VIP, all levels of tickets to the festival included unlimited drinks and alcoholic beverages. Kendall Jenner’s ever-popular 818 Tequila was the official tequila of Palm Tree Music Festival, serving up the perfect celeb-worthy vibes with every pour.

A wide array of activations, food and games were set up across the festival grounds, including the Palm Tree Crew x PUMA Golf Chase Dreams golf experience, photo ops, Shake Shack and Shrimpy’s food trucks and so much more. And for those who indulged in the VIP tickets, the festival-goers received their own tables with couches to lounge on and bottle service to keep the party going all night long. And it didn’t stop there, the Palm Tree Crew even offered group ticket packages for those coming with their entire crew, which included the option of getting your own personal RV and/or Blade helicopter ride into the Hamptons.

But no matter which tickets you bought, everyone was treated like a star with an extraordinary immerse experience. Waiting in line? Absolutely not. Spending hundreds or thousands of dollars to stand crammed in a crowd not being able to move? We don’t know what that’s like. So, how did this luxurious music festival come to be, you may ask?

Palm Tree Music Festival was created by the Palm Tree Crew, led by world-famous DJ, songwriter and record producer Kygo and his manager Myles Shear. According to Palm Tree Crew’s website, the two formed the Crew back in 2016 when they began “gifting palm tree necklaces to their inner circle as a symbol of community formed over sunny days of paradise”. Today, the Palm Tree Crew has grown to gifting that feeling with the world through “luxury products and world-class events that embody the carefree vibe of never-ending summer surrounded by the people you love” — cue the birth of Palm Tree Music Festival.

Never having put on a music festival of his own made this a true milestone moment for the 30-year-old DJ. But despite being new to the creation of a festival, Kygo is no newcomer to performing. The “Higher Love” artist headlined his own festival alongside Frank Walker, Forrester, Gryffin and Zedd — with a special guest appearance from Kygo’s friend and the one-and-only Jimmy Buffet.

A long list of well-known names also came out to support Kygo and his Crew — and of course, enjoy the one-of-a-kind experience for themselves. Notable VIP attendees included professional tennis player Taylor Fritz; business moguls Robert Kraft, Melissa and Noah Tepperberg, Andrew Lustgarten and Steven Reisman; entrepreneurs Ally Shapiro and Jack Brinkley-Cook; models Sailor Brinkley-Cook, Nina Agdal, Brooks Nade, Michaela V and Erica Pelosini.

There were also appearances from reality stars Batsheva and Miriam Haart, Peter Weber, Dustin Kendrick, Corinne Olympios and the cast of Summer House; content creators and influencers Arielle and Brandon Charnas, Danielle Bernstein, Griffin Johnson, Pamela Tick, Remi Bader, Roma Abdesselam, Mike Tommasiello, Ethan D’Spain, Bec Donlan and Josh Beckerman — just to name a few (or a lot).

The outfit of choice? None other than this summer’s top style trends including proportion play of crop tops and boyfriend jeans, color-tinted sunglasses, tie front tube tops, fun florals, matching sets and who could forget the classic white sneaker. And with Hamptons-esc festival fashion of course comes the pictures, which Palm Tree Music Festival encouraged with many IG-worthy photo ops throughout the festival grounds.

The Palm Tree Crew also teamed up with IHG Hotels and their Department of EPIC, as a way to make moments that matter for guests as they re-engage in travel. This provided the music festival’s special guests with lodging at the nearby Hotel Indigo Long Island East End to set the stage for a perfect epic getaway. With a stunning poolscape and an outdoor, wood-burning fireplace for guests to enjoy drinks after the sun goes down, the experience didn’t have to end when the show was over. The hotel hotspot is in the heart of the North Fork and is close to the Hamptons’ world-class beaches, great shopping and Long Island’s Wine Country.
