Fashion month is off to a strong start. After the Fall-Winter 2023 season kicked off in New York, shows are currently taking place across the pond in London, and there’s a lot to see. There has been a slew of exciting presentations on the schedule this season, including Heron Preston’s first official NYFW show, Daniel Lee’s debut at Burberry, and many more must-see moments that you don’t want to miss. Lucky for you, we’re recapping our favorite looks from the runways, below.
Burberry
All eyes were on Burberry this season as the new chief creative officer Daniel Lee made his debut for the brand. He brought a new street style approach to the designs and revamped the logo that paid homage to the fashion house’s history. He also tapped cool girl (and daughter of Jude Law and Sadie Frost) Iris Law to walk in the show.
Harris Reed

Harris Reed kicked off London Fashion Week with his signature theatrical flare with a special appearance from his friend, Don’t Worry Darling actress Florence Pugh. The star recited a speech written by the designer about the power of fashion, followed by fantastical creations that came down the runway.
Christopher Kane

We love this Christopher Kane number which gives a timeless LBD a new twist of sexiness with its lace detailing.
Luar

Luar needs to be on your radar. The up-and-coming brand designed by Brooklyn-born Raul Lopez is a must-wear among New York’s downtown crowd.
Michael Kors
There was classic Americana at Michael Kors. The designer’s collection paid homage to the style icons of the 1970s, including Tina Turner, Ali MacGraw, Cicely Tyson and Jane Fonda.
Thom Browne
Thom Browne had a star-studded front row with names such as Queen Latifah, Erykah Badu, Teyana Taylor, Penn Badgley and more.
LaQuan Smith

LaQuan Smith is known his ultra sexy, high-octane glamor, and this season was no exception with risqué cutout bodysuits to mini dresses galore.
Tory Burch

Emily Ratajkowski closed the Tory Burch show in a sexy evening dress with corset detailing paired with fishnet tights. Lori Harvey and Lana Condor were some of the numerous famous faces in attendance.
Jason Wu

The Guggenheim was the backdrop for this elegant collection, where Jason Wu sent stunning gowns down the runway in bold colors and textures.
Sergio Hudson

This Sergio Hudson look screams The Nanny in the best way possible. Someone call Fran Fine because she needs this in her closet stat.
Heron Preston
This was Heron Preston’s first official show on the NYFW schedule, and he most definitely did not disappoint.
Anna Sui
Anna Sui’s most recent collection was the perfect combination of girly meets grunge. All Anna, all the way.
Prabal Gurung

Prabal Gurung staged his latest runway show at the New York Public Library, where bold colors and show-stopping silhouettes were on display.
SIMKHAI

This season, Simkhai delivered every fashion girl’s dream wardrobe with edgy leather looks, lug-sole boots, and chic separates.
Rodarte

Rodarte was all about a goth girl moment, with a collection Morticia Addams would definitely dream of.
Christian Siriano

The inspiration behind this romantic show was “Welcome to Audrey Hepburn’s rose garden at midnight.” Glamorous gowns floated down the floral-lined runway, like this stunning drop-waist number.
