After its much talked about premiere at the Venice Film Festival, Don’t Worry Darling continued its film festival run at the 70th San Sebastian International Film Festival in Spain over the weekend, where director Olivia Wilde mixed her casual uniform with some ultra-glam, retro style moments.

Styled by Karla Welch, the director arrived at the Maria Cristina Hotel in an oversized plain white tee, a black blazer, and baggy blue jeans, cinched with a black leather belt, adding a pop of color with a pair of bright yellow Adidas x Gucci Gazelle sneakers.

The following day, Wilde attended the Don’t Worry Darling photo call in bold long-sleeve, turtleneck, floral-print dress from luxury womenswear label Kwaidan Editions. Punchy flowers in shades of orange, marigold, and brown covered the dress, evoking the retro bohemian feel of the 1970s.

Wilde wore her honey-highlighted hair in a low and loose chignon, putting her long face-framing layers on display.

Before her final red carpet ride, Wilde sported an ensemble, similar to the one she arrived in, only in a sleeker, slimmer fit. Again, wearing a black blazer jacket, Wilde teamed it with a white fitted tank top with light-wash blue jeans.

Carrying a burgundy handbag, Wilde slipped into her bright yellow Adidas x Gucci Gazelle sneakers once again, topping off her look with a pair of black Ray-Ban Original Wayfarer Classic sunglasses.

Swapping out her casual look for incredible evening wear, Wilde arrived on the red carpet at the Victoria Eugenia Theatre in Valentino Couture from designer Pierpaolo Piccioli’s recent Fall/Winter 2022 collection.

The striking forest green sequined halter-neck gown fit Wilde like a glove, swooping down into a backless silhouette. The actress wore her honey blonde hair straightened with a sleek middle-part.

Throughout the red carpet madness, Wilde almost tripped over the confection before elegantly recovering without a spill, with the aid of a helpful assistant.

In photographs captured at the scene, it appears Wilde got her matching metallic green pump caught in her train.

Don’t Worry Darling has made headlines since filming began and has since been associated with an unprecedented amount of drama.

The rumor mill got its first taste of behind-the-scenes gossip when Wilde began a relationship with her leading man, Harry Styles after leaving her partner of nine years, Jason Sudeikis.

The alleged backstage turmoil continued with whispers of a rift between Wilde and her leading lady, Florence Pugh, speculation that Styles spit on his co-star Chris Pine at the 2022 Venice Film Festival, and a toxic and confusing back-and-forth with former- lead actor of the film Shia LaBeouf.
