They said “I do!” Heiress and actress Nicola Peltz wed Brooklyn Beckham, the son of professional soccer player David Beckham and Spice Girl-turned-fashion designer Victoria Beckham, in a romantic and star-studded affair on Saturday, April 9 at Peltz’s family estate in Palm Beach, Florida.

Styled by Leslie Fremar, the bride donned a classic ivory bespoke Valentino Haute Couture wedding gown with custom lace detailing and a dramatic train, designed by the brand’s creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli.

Peltz told CR Fashion Book in November, “Watching everyone in the atelier, they’re just so talented. The first time I went to Rome, I brought my mom and my brother Brad, who’s actually my man of honor, and then [stylist] Leslie Fremar who’s one of my best friends in the whole world. It is really a beautiful thing to be a part of, and it’s very exciting.”

Pairing the chic, simplistic gown with French lace handmade gloves, the bride topped it off with an extravagant lace-trimmed veil, that cascaded past her train.

Having opted for Valentino on various occasions, such as the 2021 Met Gala, Peltz told Vogue choosing the fashion house was “a no-brainer.” Customizing the gown with sentimental details Peltz’s mother included an evil eye as a talisman, and there was also a special message that the Valentino team stitched inside with symbolic blue thread.

Peltz called upon bombshell ‘90s supermodel Claudia Schiffer and French cinema icon Brigitte Bardot as her beauty inspiration, with her hair and makeup done by longtime team, hairstylist Adir Abergel and Chanel makeup artist Kate Lee. With her blonde tresses scooped up in a voluminous, tousled half-up half-down ‘do, the actress’ curtain bangs perfectly framed her face and supported her lengthy veil.

With the help of family friend Kim Jones, Brooklyn’s groomsmen were all dressed in dapper Dior suiting including his father David, and brothers, Romeo, 19, and Cruz, 17, while 10-year-old sister Harper Beckham acted as one of the flower girls. Brooklyn added a little spice to his tux with a diamond Anita Ko chain on his lapel, gifted to him from his new in-laws. Peltz’s bridesmaids were dressed in gowns created by Joel Diaz.

Victoria, of course, flexed her sartorial prowess in a shimmering metallic liquid silver slip dress embroidered with three different French laces. The bespoke creation was designed within Beckham’s own fashion label. Posting a photo of herself and her husband walking down the aisle hand-in-hand, Beckham wrote, “Proud mum and dad 💒💕✨ congratulations Mr & Mrs Beckham.”

Stepping out the next day for a post-wedding brunch, Peltz arrived in a metallic trimmed, ivory minidress with a similar square neckline to her bridal gown, with more Claudia Schiffer-inspired influence, according to Vogue.

With guests including Eva Longoria, Venus and Serena Williams, Rashida Jones, Gordon Ramsay, directors M Night Shyamalan and Michael Bay, and two former members of the Spice Girls, Mel B and Melanie C in attendance, celebrations began on Friday evening with an intimate dinner party, all spearheaded by esteemed wedding planner Michelle Rago.

According to Vogue, the newlyweds invited guests to make donations to benefit those suffering in Ukraine as a wedding gift through the help of humanitarian organization Care.

Starting their new life as husband and wife, each appeared to have changed their names adding “Peltz Beckham” to their respective Instagram handles.
