As Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz prepare for their upcoming wedding, reportedly set to take place on Saturday, April 9 at Peltz’s family oceanfront estate in Palm Beach, Florida, we’re taking a walk down memory lane and looking back at their relationship timeline.
Daughter of American billionaire businessman Nelson Peltz and model Claudia Heffner Peltz, the 27-year-old actress began dating the eldest son of professional soccer player David Beckham and Spice Girl-turned-fashion designer Victoria Beckham after a Halloween party in 2019. Going Instagram official in January of 2020, their relationship only picked up speed from there.
Brooklyn got down on one knee and popped the question in June of 2020, and the pair announced the proposal a few weeks later, posting images captured by Beckham’s 10-year-old sister Harper, featuring the couple in a loving embrace. Peltz even donned a Victoria Beckham Spring/Summer 2020 sundress for the special moment.
The couple have shared wedding planning activities (including their cake tasting sessions) on social media, but have kept the details of Peltz’s Valentino bridal gown pretty minimal.
The Transformers: Age of Extinction actress did tell CR Fashion Book in November, “Watching everyone in the atelier, they’re just so talented. The first time I went to Rome, I brought my mom and my brother Brad, who’s actually my man of honor, and then [stylist] Leslie Fremar who’s one of my best friends in the whole world. It is really a beautiful thing to be a part of, and it’s very exciting.”
Peltz went onto divulge that she’s working with creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli on multiple dresses. “The creative process has been fun, like finding the perfect fit and fabric.”
Not the only one preparing their looks for the big day, David Beckham took to Instagram, looking quite dapper alongside his father David, and Victoria’s father, Anthony Adams dressed in tuxedos. “Creating special memories ❤️❤️ wedding plans underway & the dads are all suited and booted 🔥,” he captioned the pic.
Since their engagement, Peltz has gotten a tattoo of Brooklyn’s name, while Brooklyn has acquired many tattoos dedicated to his fiancée, including a love letter she once wrote him, her grandmother’s name, and her eyes on the back of his neck, to name a few.
The two have graced a plethora of campaigns and editorials for fashion magazines, attended the 2021 Met Gala arm-in-arm, and have already purchased their first home (which they just recently list to move to Miami).
While the pair prepares for the big day, many have begun speculating as to whether Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will be in attendance, as well as the famous Spice Girls crew. It seems we’ll just have to wait and see.
