The ‘Queen of Rap’ Nicki Minaj decided to grace our Instagram feeds on Monday, April 10, and fans are freaking out. In the glammed-up photo, Nicki Minaj is rocking her birthday suit and a pair of Chanel bedazzled pink crocs. The last time Minaj posted to Instagram was back in January so the Barbz went into a frenzy trying to decipher what the photo could mean. The Grammy-nominated performer and new mother posed with diamond-encrusted anklets and bracelets as well as rings, a stack of necklaces, hoop earrings, and pink sunglasses. Her body was perfectly covered with on-brand heart-shaped pink pillows. In another photo, the 38-year-old artist is seen posing in front of a bright pink neon ‘NICKI’ sign behind her making us all wonder, is Onika Tanya Maraj gearing up to release part two of the 2014 studio album, Pink Print? Is she collaborating with Crocs? What’s going on?

Fans weren’t the only ones excited for her return, MTV even commented on the Instagram post saying “I missed you.” Minaj’s caption with not much detail says “F R I D A Y” and fans are praying for a possible song release. Minaj’s last release was 2018’s Queen. She even teased a retirement in 2019. She gave birth to her first child with her husband Kenneth Petty in September 2020, though she still hasn’t released the child’s name. Minaj also earned her first Number 1 on Billboard‘s Hot 100 with her remix of Doja Cat’s “Say So.” If fans get what they want this Friday, Minaj could see her second Number 1.

Barbz are known to ride behind their queen and in the last week they’ve shown their grit. They organized a successful “LLC Party” on social media to get Minaj’s “LLC” off of her Queen album to number one on the U.S. iTunes Hip-Hop/Rap chart. Their efforts helped make the three-year-old track a trending topic and propel it to the top spot. It is also currently No. 3 on the iTunes overall chart. So, if Minaj is gearing up for a ‘pink Friday’ courtesy of Crocs, we already know the power of the Barbz is so great it won’t take long until the shoes sell out.
