After a busy Paris Fashion Week, Naomi Campbell is back on the catwalk. On Tuesday, British fashion house Alexander McQueen presented its Spring/Summer 2023 collection at the Old Royal Naval College in London, and tapped the runway veteran to model a show stopping cutout creation.

Campbell wore a glittering second-skin catsuit featuring sequin and crystal embellishment with two cutouts at the shoulder and around her thighs. The one-piece extended down into built-in boots with a clear wedge heel.

The 52-year-old beauty’s hair was styled in billowing waves and she rocked a dramatic winged smokey eye look and wore silver hoop earrings and statement metal rings.

Another iteration of the cutout look also went down the catwalk featuring a collage print of boldly colored florals and birds.

The luxury label’s creative director Sarah Burton staged the show inside a massive dome-like bubble designed by Chilean architect Smiljan Radic. After 12 years at the helm of McQueen, Burton crafted a collection filled with modern house codes including deconstructed silhouettes, elegant lace, pristine tailoring, bold prints of flowers and eyes, leather bustiers, and daring cutouts.

“This collection is about searching for humanity and human connection,” said Burton in a statement. “The eye is a symbol of that humanity, a register of emotion, an expression of uniqueness. Our clothes are designed to empower. They are stripped back, dissected and focused on cut, drape and silhouette. We also looked at the work of Hieronymus Bosch, at once dark and beautiful.”

McQueen‘s “First Sight” collection coincided with London’s Frieze Art Fair and many famous faces lined the front row, including icon Janet Jackson, model Lara Stone, The Woman King actress Sheila Atim, Black Panther star Letitia Wright, and model Anna Cleveland.
