Have we entered a new age of Miley? With recent appearances on late night shows such as Jimmy Fallon and Saturday Night Live, the Prisoner rocker has debuted a fresh new wardrobe, prompting us to question if we are about to witness another Miley Cyrus fashion evolution.

Cyrus stepped out on Thursday evening to appear on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in a sleek cut-out black Saint Laurent catsuit and a voluminous white fur overcoat. Cyrus showed off her new ‘do, a bleach blonde straightened shag with black streaks throughout—reminiscent of the iconic Disney villain Cruella de Vil.

While out and about, the star wore a tailored Ashlyn Spring/Summer 2022 color-block black and white suit and lug sole Simon Miller boots. Always a fan of an exaggerated fashion piece, Cyrus has long been a fan of the fuzzy fur hat– specifically rocking an Emma Brewin confection.

Next up was another color-blocked ensemble by Marni for its Spring/Summer 2022 collection. The oversized black and cerulean suit with graphic block stripes was paired with a plain black tee and leather thigh-high boots from Prada.

On Saturday, Cyrus sported another matching set behind the scenes at SNL, this time a pink and red printed Philosophy number from the Spring/Summer 2022 collection by Lorenzo Serafini. The singer gave her look an extra dose of glam rock with a floor length fur coat and Chanel circle sunglasses embossed with the brand’s iconic double interlocking Cs.

With a sartorial range as expansive as her vocal range, and fashion sensibilities as versatile as her musical abilities, the style chameleon has always been one to define a creative chapter in her life with a definitive visual personality. Of course, always imbued with her signature bad-assery, it seems as though each album has a different look associated with the period of time as Cyrus remains in a constant state of evolution.

There was the Hannah Montana era, the Can’t Be Tamed period, the age of Bangerz, and most recently, the ultra-glam rock looks of Plastic Hearts, conjuring thoughts of David Bowie or Debbie Harry. Recently dubbed Billboard’s #1 female rock artist of 2021, Cyrus continues to promote her ‘Miley’s New Years Eve Party’ special, and we can’t help but hope there is more in the works. For now, we’ll just soak up all of these sleek and chic rocker chick fashion statements as long as Cyrus keeps churning them out.
