Miley Cyrus has revealed her gorgeous new collaboration with Gucci Beauty, which honors her late grandmother.
The former Disney star and the Italian fashion house announced their new partnership in June, with Miley working with them for their new perfume which features notes of gardenia, jasmine, pear blossom, and brown sugar.
“Gucci Flora Gorgeous Gardenia makes me think of my grandmother who always smelt of fresh cut flowers,” Miley shared with fans on Thursday alongside the new images.
“When I stop to smell them it’s like I’m with her. It’s the greatest gift.'”
Miley’s maternal grandmother, Loretta ‘Mammie’ Finlay, passed away in August 2020 at the age of 85. She was the former president of Miley’s fan club.
“Even though you are gone…. NOTHING has or ever will change. You will FOREVER be my inspiration and fashion icon. Even more than that the ultimate model of being a true LIGHT in a dark world. You are sunshine,” Miley shared at the time on Twitter.
“I will keep your spirit here by continuing to do good for others and treating them the way we all desire to be treated. With an infinite amount of the same gentle kindness you displayed daily. We will ache everyday you are not with us….”
In the new campaign, shot by Petra Collins, Miley rocks a bright purple blouse with jewelled high neck collar, and puffed sleeves, while she pLays with adorable fluffy white kittens and poddles.
The video for the campaign features Miley covering the 90s pop hit Delicious by Shampoo, and has an adorable kawaii style with animation by director Akihiko Ota.
A second series of shots see the star in a bright pink jumpsuit, with yellow tights and chunky heel sandals as she poses with oversized bottles of the perfume.
The 28-year-old’s now iconic mullet hair was styled by Paul Hanlon, while make-up artist Thomas de Kluyver brought out her natural beauty with dark eyebrows and neutral shades across her lips and cheeks.
The perfume retails for $138 for the 100ML bottle or $108 for the smaller 50ML bottle of Flora Gorgeous Gardenia.
