In news that’ll surprise literally no one, Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox will very likely soon be engaged.

The pair, who have spoken multiple times about their intense soul—sorry, “twin flame”—connection are both reportedly ready to commit to each other for life, with a source telling Entertainment Tonight that Kelly (real name Colson Baker) is going to pop the question soon. He “has been telling friends that he is planning to propose [to Fox],” the source said. “They’re very in love and beyond obsessed with each other. They are ready to take this next step in their relationship.”

Another souce, who spoke with Life & Style noted yesterday that the musician “has been waiting for the right moment” to propose to Fox. “He may look rough around the edges, but he’s a real romantic when it comes to Megan,” they added. “He’s completely head-over-heels in love with her, calling her his soulmate. He can’t wait to make her his wife.”

These rumours have been circulating since at least June when a source told Entertainment Tonight Kelly planned to ask Fox to marry him on the sooner side. “MGK would love to start a family with Megan someday, but right now doesn’t seem to be the time in terms of scheduling,” the source said. “As far as engagement goes, it is likely that this will happen sooner than later and it has been a topic of conversation without question.”

Of course, the couple’s good friends, Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian, just had an engagement of their own, so perhaps Kelly and Fox are giving them a few weeks in the spotlight, before joining in on the fun. Joint punk wedding, guys?

In October, Kelly and Fox spoke about their intense bond and how their relationship pushes them both in very deep ways. “This is a very intense relationship,” Fox said. “Our souls chose this to absolutely have to face our shadow selves; to face things about ourselves we didn’t want to have to know, that we tried to push away.”

“It should be light [like first love], but also we go to hell with each other,” Kelly added. “It’s ecstasy and agony for sure… I don’t want people to think anything’s perfect with us. I didn’t say it was the darkest fairy tale for no reason.”

In Instagram posts to announce their magazine cover, Fox wrote a caption that instantly went viral, referencing (among many other things), organic smoothies, guns, therapy, “and the kind of sex that would make Lucifer clutch his rosary 📿.” Just imagine the engagement ‘grams.
