Since Margot Robbie isn’t on Instagram, we rely on stylist Kate Young to share each one of her stylish appearances. Over the weekend, the Amsterdam actress stepped out at the glitzy 13th annual Governors Awards in Los Angeles to celebrate talent in film. She chose to wear a slinky cutout gown for the occasion designed by the newly-appointed creative director Matthieu Blazy for Bottega Veneta.
The abs-baring ensemble featured an asymmetric neckline and ruching at the seam connecting the top and skirt with a single gold knot. Her hair was kept sleek and straight while the gown was paired with gold earrings and stacked bangles courtesy of Sidney Garber. Forget Barbie, it’s giving green goddess.
Robbie stepped out alongside the likes of Cher, Jennifer Lawrence (also styled by Young) and Olivia Wilde who looked glamorous just days after her split with Harry Styles. The annual award ceremony is held by the Academy and serves not only as a chance to honor exceptional talent in film, but a prelude to the Oscars next March.
It’s the second look Robbie has worn from the Italian fashion house in the past week after she was captured wearing an off-duty look from the Autumn/Winter 2022 collection last Thursday. Robbie opted for a white tank under and oversized blazer, jeans and a green Bottega Veneta cassette bag boasting the brand’s signature Intrecciato woven leather. Look a little closer and you’ll discover that her jeans are not denim as they seem, but leather pants that have been dyed.
Let her Bottega era officially commence!
