Since the beginning of their whirlwind romance, Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox have never failed when it comes to couple dressing, nor taking that dressing to the next level when it comes to red carpet events. There was the MTV VMAs, where MGK wore a red sequin dress and Fox wore a sparkly naked dress. Then there was Fox’s Mugler moment at the Billboard Music Awards, sealed with a lot of tongue kissing PDA. Now, for the launch of MGK’s new genderless nail polish line, UN/DN LAQR, the couple opted not only to match their outfits, but to quite literally chain themselves to one another.

Arriving at the event, the couple wore matching all-black looks, both in black blazer sans tops with matching pink nail polish. MGK’s look was made up of a vinyl textured double-breasted jacket which was slightly tapered at the waist and paired with matching pants and patent leather shoes. Meanwhile, Fox’s blazer featured shoulder pads and a thick linked belt with jewellery across her bare chest. She wore a short black skirt underneath and finished her look with open-toe stilettos which wrapped around her ankles and burgundy lipstick.

To highlight how connected their souls are—they once dubbed themselves “twin flames”, after all—the rapper and model were chained together by their pinkie nails, each of which was painted in the pink shade from the UN/DN LAQR range.

MGK’s latest venture, a genderless cruelty free and vegan nail polish range which is pronounced “Undone Lacquer” features ten different colors and five top coats. In an interview with W Magazine, the musician explained that painting and experimenting with his nails became a form of self-care and a way of making himself slow down.

“For sure women are the biggest inspiration for the nail line, and not just because painting your nails is generally considered to be a feminine activity,” he said. “Women pay attention. I’ll ask my daughter: ‘Why are you putting on makeup today? We’re not going anywhere.’ And she’ll say, ‘This is just how I want to look. This is for me.’ And there’s a really stunning lesson in that because men almost never do things to be seen. And we don’t do things that put us in a position to be comfortable with ourselves. This line is like, ‘Hey, take this 30 minutes for yourself to just add to your vibe, whatever that is today.’”

Looks like Harry Styles has some competition in the nail department.
