I have some great news and some pretty upsetting news for you. If like us you’re constantly rooting for Timothée Chalamet then it is unfortunate to confirm, that despite rumors, the actor has not reunited with ex-girlfriend Lily Rose-Depp (how can you resist that man in a bathtub?!). Instead, the model and actress has been spotted in a steamy encounter with Austin Butler overnight.
As first reported by the Daily Mail, the new couple were spotted sharing a kiss after a dinner date in London (see the photos here). It appeared to be a casual affair with the pair both wearing jeans and jumpers – my personal default mode. Depp and Butler had previously worked together and starred in the 2016 film Yoga Hosers, directed by Kevin Smith.
Despite our devastation for Chalamet, we’re very into this new romance.
Rumors of the rekindled love were sparked in April after the Little Women star was spotted entering a car with a mystery woman. Her face was covered by eye witness accounts believed it was the actress.
It’s no wonder we haven’t heard much since this most recent development. Depp is notoriously private which she say she learnt from her parents.
“The value of privacy is something that’s been instilled in me from an early age,” Depp said in a past interview. “Growing up in a family like I did, it was always something that was—I always learned the importance of privacy and valuing that and keeping things just for yourself. And that’s something that I’ve carried on into my own career and that’s really important to me.”
As for Butler, he split from long-time girlfriend (nine years!!!) Vanessa Hudgens back in January 2020. While the High School Musical star seemed to thrive after the breakup, we have heard little from Butler ever since. Yay for new love! The 29-year-old is slated to appear in an Elvis biopic in 2022.
