Rumours are rife that millennial multi-hyphenate Vanessa Hudgens has split from her boyfriend of nearly nine years, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood actor Austin Butler. But instead of recoiling and reaching for a tub of Ben & Jerry’s (or Messina for those playing at home), Hudgens has addressed the news in the most spectacular style – arriving on the red carpet in a knockout feathered creation by Georges Hobeika.

Attending the premiere of ‘Bad Boys For Life‘ at the Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, the actress-singer quite literally ruffled feathers in the extravagant ivory gown, which featured fountains of fluffy plumes, crystal embellishment through the body and a dramatic thigh-high split, along with theatrical train. She completed the look with a pair of platform peep-toe heels by Casadei and impeccable blow-wave.

Rather than shying away from pressing paparazzi, however, Hudgens looked completely unfazed by the news, in fact, relished the limelight, blowing kisses and posing.

Of the rumoured split, E! News reports the long-term relationship came to its end due to distance and clashing work calendars. “They’re just shooting on two different continents and it’s a matter of distance…There is no bad blood at all, and they have a lot of respect for each other.”
