We love to see it! Lily Collins couldn’t help but support her Emily in Paris costar and bestie Ashley Park before she made her first appearance on Jimmy Kimmel‘s talk show on Thursday, January 20.

The Broadway alum took to her Instagram Story to share Collins’ sweet gesture. The Mirror Mirror star sent Park some flowers with a sweet note which read: “Dear Ashley, Happy first late night to my strong, fierce, brave, and wild soul sister. Can’t wait to watch you shine. Have the best time and soak in this moment. SO proud of you. Love you forever, Lily xo.”

Collins re-posted, writing, “Literally couldn’t be prouder of my soul sister’s first late night show!!! Please tune in to watch her tonight on @JimmyKimmelLive!!”

While chatting with Kimmel, Park discussed if she is an expert in the language. “I did take six years of French in middle school and high school,” she shared. “I am not fluent, but what is funny, especially this past season, I have run into a lot of locals who I have seen the show and they assume I am a fluent in French. It’s rather interesting. I will be at a restaurant and a waiter will come up and I’ll take off my mask and he will say, ‘It’s Mindy.’ And he will start rattling off in French, and I do not want to offend them, so I just nod along.”

She continued, “I have ended up with three meals before just because I kept on saying yes. But I am getting better. I am determined for seasons 3 and 4 to become more fluent.”

Collins stars as Emily Cooper in the Netflix series, while Park plays her bestie Mindy Chen. The two are close on the small screen — and in real life!

Ashley’s a friend who makes you feel like being you is enough. She gives you what you need when you don’t even know it yourself,” Collins, 32, gushed to Glamour U.K.

Fortunately, Park feels the same. “You think that I thought a few years ago that I’d be doing a GLAMOUR cover shoot with Lily effing Collins?! No! Are you dead serious right now?!” she exclaimed. “There is no scene partner, leading lady, friend-like sister who is as supportive as Lily.”
