It seems Lana Del Rey is taking a leaf out of Taylor Swift’s book, sneaking major news from her friends in her music just as Swift is wont to do. After finally releasing her entire new album, fans believe Del Rey has revealed the wedding date of her longtime collaborator Jack Antonoff.

In a song titled “Margaret” from her latest album, Did You Know There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd, Antonoff joins Del Rey to sing about his fiancée, actress Margaret Qualley.
In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Del Rey revealed that the track was written as a “song that could hypothetically be played at their wedding.”
The lyrics begin with the story of how the couple met. “He met Margaret on a rooftop; she was wearin’ white,” it starts.
Then, further along, Del Rey can be heard saying, “I mean, join the party… by the way, the party is December 18,” which fans now believe could be the date of their nuptials.

Speaking with Interview Magazine, the singer shared that the song was the last to be written for the album in September last year.
“I was like, ‘You know what? I want to write a song for him.’ It lands right in the middle of the album,” she recalled.
“It’s funny; this album felt totally effortless. When I did Norman F*****g Rockwell! It was about world-building, whereas this was straight vibing.”
Antonoff, 38, who has worked with Lorde and Taylor Swift, and Qualley, 28, reportedly began dating in August 2021.
Then, in May 2022, the couple sparked engagement rumors when the actress was spotted with a diamond ring at the Cannes Film Festival. The pair confirmed their engagement on Instagram not long after.
