We hear wedding bells! Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker tied the knot in Las Vegas, TMZ reported on Tuesday, April 5. According to the outlet, the two went to a Las Vegas chapel around 1:30 a.m. on Monday — just a few hours after they walked the carpet at the Grammy Awards.
Apparently, the couple had a marriage license and gave it to the chapel’s owner, who also was a witness. Naturally, the duo had an Elvis impersonator at the ceremony as well.
It sounds like this will not be the only big event, though. The website reported that there will be “‘several’ other celebrations, with lots of fanfare.”
The reality star and her man started dating in early 2021, and in February of the same year, they became Instagram official.
Kardashian and Barker have known each other for quite some time, which is one of the reasons why their relationship moved so quickly. They later got engaged in October 2021 when the Blink-182 drummer proposed on the beach at the Rosewood Miramar in Santa Barbara. “Forever,” the brunette babe captioned a photo from the exciting day.
Kardashian has helped Barker — who survived a plane crash in 2008 — get accustomed to flying again.
“I made a deal with her that she had just said to me, ‘I would love to do so much traveling with you. I want to go to Italy with you. I want to go to Cabo with you. I want to go to Paris with you. I want to go to Bora Bora with you,’” the rocker, who coparents Alabama, Landon and Atiana with ex Shanna Moakler — told Nylon magazine. “And I said, ‘Well, when the day comes you want to fly, I’m telling you I’ll do it with you. I would do anything with you. And just give me 24 hours’ notice.’ And that’s what she did.”
He added, “It’s still something very new to me, but having something that gives me the strength and hope to be able to overcome things that were so traumatic in my life, it just says a ton. She’s definitely that for me. I’m invincible when I’m with her. It’s just like I never dreamed, I never even considered flying again.”
Fans will soon get to see more of Kardashian — who shares Reign, Penelope and Mason with ex Scott Disick — and Barker’s relationship play out when The Kardashians premieres on Hulu on April 14.
“I definitely hold my relationship really close,” she told Variety. “It’s so sacred to me and I am very protective of it. I think I’ve learned a lot of lessons. There is a lot of us on there, and we’ve had such a good time doing it because we have such a good time when we’re together, but I definitely want to protect it as much as I can. But also, this is my life.”
