The business mogul opted for yet another head-to-toe Balenciaga ensemble that seemed Catwoman-inspired, hugging her recognizable curves oh-so perfectly. The skin-tight look wrapped around her entire body (minus her face) completed with a flowing train trailing behind her.
Although Kardashian still covered her eyes with black mask-like sunglasses, the reality star showed enough to dispel rumors circulating Twitter that she sent a body double to attend the 2021 Met Gala. Other commentators compared the unidentifiable look to a sleep paralysis demon or the Dementors from the Harry Potter films. But we can’t see Kim wanting to miss out on fashion’s biggest night out, especially after a year without.
According to TMZ, her incognito Met Gala look was influenced by West. Multiple sources revealed that West “gave Kim the courage to push the envelope with creativity and people’s imagination through art.” Both Balenciaga looks remain consistent with the post-apocalyptic aesthetic that she has been partaking in as of recent.
