If there’s one city to be in this weekend it’s Miami, where everyone from Rihanna to Zoe Kravitz to Madonna and Kim Kardashian are currently residing for events during the city’s annual Art Basel art show.
With so many A-listers in one location, it only makes sense the paparazzi, too, would be out in full force, ready and waiting to catch all the best looks. On Thursday night. Kardashian provided the goods, stepping out for dinner with her sister, Khloé, at the celebrity-frequented Gekko restaurant.
The SKIMS founder showed some skin in a strapless micro black leather bandeau bra that looked more like a strip of the Balenciaga duct tape she wore to Paris Fashion Week than a top in its own right. Speaking of Balenciaga, Kardashian opted not to wear the brand, after distancing herself following controversy over its recent ad campaigns.
Instead, she wore blue, white, and black baggy BMX racing trousers ,which she tucked into a pair of thigh-high boots with exaggerated pouches that zipped on each side.
Kardashian accessorized with a pair of oversized square wraparound sunglasses and long, dagger-like nude nails. She wore her dirty blonde hair in a middle-part and added nude matte lipstick to finish the look.
Kardashian’s trip to Miami is also a celebratory one: over two years ago, in February 2021, she filed for divorce from her husband Kanye West and earlier this week, it was finally finalized. According to People, she is “very relieved” the process is over.
Kardashian “didn’t want the divorce to go to trial,” a source told the publication, adding: “[Kim and Kanye] had several initial disagreements that they were now able to agree on. Kanye ended up agreeing to most of the things that he opposed in the past.” Meanwhile, West has been suspended from Elon Musk’s Twitter over further antisemitic tweets.
