When it comes to any of the Kardahian’s lavish affairs you can be rest assured it will be plastered all over social media. In light of the recent tragedy at the Astroworld Festival last month however, Kylie Jenner has refrained from posting anything at all. According to TMZ, the reality star celebrated her baby shower at the weekend.
Insiders close to the event told the publication that it was thrown at Khloé Kardashian’s new $37 million USD Hidden Hills mansion. It was reportedly intimate in size with just Jenner’s siblings, nieces, nephews, and close friends invited. Kardashian organised a massage station, treats for the guests and a tent with tables for privacy.
Jenner announced the pregnancy of her second child on social media in September. The news arrived after “multiple sources” confirmed rumours she was expecting. It is currently unclear when she is due or the sex of the baby.
Jenner’s first daughter, Stormi, 3, was born in February 2018 after the Kylie Cosmetics founder kept her pregnancy secret. She published a statement on Twitter apologising for keeping fans in the dark. “I understand you’re used to me bringing you along on all my journeys. My pregnancy was one I chose not to do in front of the world. I knew for myself I needed to prepare for this role of a lifetime in the most positive, stress free, and healthy way I knew how.”
The beauty mogul split from Travis Scott in October 2019 before rekindling the romance in June this year.
Jenner is “very happy” with Scott and “they are not putting any pressure on their relationship,” a source told People at the time. “They get along and things are great. They both want to be as present as possible for Stormi. Kylie and Travis have worked hard to create a great family situation. They love each other. Everyone is very proud of how mature they are. Stormi is the happiest little girl. It’s all benefitting her.”
Scott is currently being sued after eight people were killed in a “mass casualty” incident at the Astroworld Festival last month.
