Kendall Jenner takes on the role of a paratrooper in her new campaign for French designer Jacquemus. The 25-year-old model posed nude with the exception of pink calf-high socks and pink mules accessorized with a pink suede Jacquemus bag. The brand shared the shot to Instagram, and it’s been making splashes with fans everywhere.

With simplistic makeup and styling, the focus was all on the handbag, which is part of Jacquemus’ “LA MONTAGNE” collection. The image was shot by Drew Vickers, makeup by London-based makeup artist Hiromi Ueda and hair styled by Cyndia Harvey.

Jenner made her return to the runway walking in the Jacquemus show in Paris this past July, her first time walking in a show since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. She strut alongside the likes of Bella Hadid and Adut Akech, and in a blink of normalcy, the show even had in-person attendance.

Walking in the Jacquemus show, Jenner posted an Instagram video of the runway with the caption “good to be back!” She walked in two pieces that night, one bright red and pink, reminiscent of the latest campaign, and another black top and skirt combo. Both outfits featured an exposed midriff, the main difference being the slacks versus skirt variations, which resulted in simple but effective silhouettes.

“I wanted to focus on the clothes, the silhouettes, the colours, the fabrics, the details and the energy of the models,” Simon Porte Jacquemus, the creator and creative director of Jacquemus, said. “I wanted the set to be minimal and sharp, recreating an abstract artistic mountain that portrays the inspiration of the collection.”

The collection was immediately available to purchase on the Jacquemus website, and the handbag featured in Jenner’s latest shoot will be available for purchase soon, although the exact date has not yet been released.
