As our Northern Hemisphere readers can attest to, the scent of pine needles, pumpkin spice and winter frost has marked the start of hot girl fall. Though in the realm of the celebrity style set, there’s no one embodying the cosy-meets-carnal aesthetic better than Kendall Jenner.

As the Scorpio season stars foreshadowed, this week marked a spicy kismet charged with unexpected chemistry. So who better to embody that in a sartorial sense than the Scorpion herself?

Overnight, the supermodel turned tequila entrepreneur put her best foot forward in a literal sense. Adorning herself in Mathew Blazy’s new Resort ‘24 collection for Bottega Veneta, the 818 Tequila founder took her dobermann, Pyro, for a stylish walk through Beverly Hills.

For the occasion, Jenner leaned into the 80s nouveau riche codes of the collection in a double-breasted trench coat in a grey wool twill layered on top of a needlepoint-esque Christmas sweater featuring a repeating snowflake motif.

Taking a page out of Dua Lipa’s book, Jenner completed her ensemble with heeled burgundy-coloured boots. Pyro even had his own Bottega Veneta intrecciato leather lead, too.

Though, this “plandid” shot—a phrase used to describe an overtly staged paparazzi street-style image—has led many to question Jenner’s timing in executing the poised picture.

Earlier this week, Jenner posted a morose photo of an L.A. sunset with a cryptic caption: “What’s meant for me, will simply find me.”

The mantra is typically used for manifesting purposes, a practice Jenner previously mentioned underpins her dating philosophy. “I don’t chase, I attract,” Jenner explained in a campaign for Calvin Klien in August.

Given the context, many have taken the post to be a subtle confirmation of her and Bad Bunny’s breakup. Could that also explain the ultra-styled outing? Perhaps this is Jenner’s way of innocuously alerting potential suitors that she’s ready for cuffing season. Or more aptly, a masterfully executed revenge dog walk.
