In the same week that Emily Ratajkowski announced her pregnancy, we reportedly have yet another supermodel with a genetically-blessed baby en route.
According to People, Karlie Kloss is pregnant with her first child to husband of two years, Joshua Kushner. A source, who’s apparently close to the 28-year-old model, told the outlet that Kloss is pregnant and due next year.
“Karlie is overjoyed to be expecting her first child in 2021,” they said. “She will be the most amazing mother.”
Kloss and Kushner wed in October 2018 after dating for six years in a small, Jewish ceremony in upstate New York with just 80 guests. Later, the couple hosted a bigger group of friends and family for a cowboy-themed wedding party in Wyoming, with guests including Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom, and Diane Von Furstenberg, before heading away on an African safari honeymoon.
Kloss first announced the couple’s engagement in July 2018 on Instagram, writing, “I love you more than I have words to express. Josh, you’re my best friend and my soulmate. I can’t wait for forever together. Yes a million times over.”
Kloss’ husband is of course Jared Kushner’s brother Jared is married to Ivanka Trump and is one of President Trump’s advisors. Kloss kept quiet about her ties to the Trump family for a long time, but recently has openly said that both she and Josh are liberal and just last week she publicly endorsed the Democratic Presidential Nominee, Joe Biden.
“It’s been hard,” Kloss said of her ties to Trump in 2019. “But I choose to focus on the values that I share with my husband, and those are the same liberal values that I was raised with and that have guided me throughout my life.”
