From Taylor Swift’s cosmic-inspired ring moment to the growing obsession with healing stones and spiritually charged jewelry, crystal designs are no longer confined to wellness circles. They have officially entered the luxury fashion conversation. And at the center of that movement is SANAMAMA founder Gabi Torres, whose handcrafted gemstone creations are attracting everyone from collectors to celebrities seeking jewelry with deeper meaning.

Based in Miami’s Bay Harbour Island, Torres has built SANAMAMA around the belief that jewelry should do more than simply accessorize. It should elevate energy, inspire transformation, and create a personal connection between the wearer and the Earth itself.  The store offers massive cornerstone gems and crystal for design and art, but also furniture (think crystal chairs and benches) that can energize any room.

“SANAMAMA can be directly translated in Spanish as ‘heal mother,’” Torres tells Grazia. “It is derived from two principles. The first is honoring the Earth Mother, Gaia, who creates these extraordinary treasures, crystals and gemstones with healing and energetic properties. It also literally means ‘heal mother,’ so it can be interpreted personally by each individual.”

That philosophy has become increasingly resonant in today’s wellness-driven luxury landscape, where consumers are gravitating toward pieces that feel intentional rather than purely decorative. For Torres, crystals function much like nature itself.

“It is the difference between living in a room filled with organic, natural plants versus inorganic imitation plants,” she says. “Real nature and plants have energetic gifts for us. The same is true for crystals and stones from the Earth. They have real gifts to offer us that can help elevate the vibration of our energy, our spaces, and our lives.”

The fascination with energetic jewelry reached a wider audience when Taylor Swift wore SANAMAMA’s signature 18k gold Inner-Spaceship Ring in her 2026 music video for “The Fate of Ophelia.” The sculptural design instantly sparked conversation online, not only for its futuristic aesthetic but for the symbolism behind it.

“Taylor wore the Inner-Spaceship Ring, which carries the energy of unconditional love while also encouraging the wearer to embark on an inner exploration of themselves in order to expand and evolve in many ways throughout their life,” Torres says. “It is one of our most unique SANAMAMA designs.” Sanamama has also been seen on the likes of Sarah Michelle Gellar, Kate Love, and Madeline Cline.

As fashion embraces color and maximalism again this summer, Torres predicts pastel gemstones will dominate the season. “Summer, for me, is all about color,” she says. “Pastel-colored tourmalines are always a beautiful addition to any outfit, especially green, pink, and blue tourmalines. They feel playful and carry the energy of love.”

But beyond fashion trends, Torres believes crystals can also provide grounding during uncertain times. She recommends incorporating specific stones into everyday spaces and routines to create calm and balance at home.

“Some foundational stones I always recommend are Rose Quartz for calming, unconditional love, and helping move negative energy out of the corners of the home,” she explains. “I also recommend Amethyst for transformation, as we are all being called to evolve during these times, and Black Obsidian for grounding and restful sleep.”

In an era where wellness, spirituality, and luxury increasingly overlap, SANAMAMA represents a growing shift toward jewelry that feels deeply personal. For Torres, gemstones are not simply beautiful objects. They are wearable reminders of connection, healing, and intention — something today’s fashion audience appears more drawn to than ever before.
