We knew Jodie Comer had fashion cred – this is the woman who played the Molly Goddard-clad Villanelle on Killing Eve, after all – but over the last week, the actor has also proven herself to be an undeniable beauty muse, too. Comer, who is currently doing press for her new film Free Guy, recently fronted up to the UK premiere with a stunning pink makeup look, which consisted of varying shades of blush.

A glowing, natural base and neatly groomed brows set the scene for the refreshingly playful pink look, with soft rosy cheeks adding warmth to Comer’s striking features. For Comer’s eyes, the actor’s longtime makeup artist Alex Babsky paired soft peachy-hued eyeshadow with a subtle cat-eye flick and lashings of mascara.

But the pièce de résistance was undoubtedly the punchy magenta lip that Babsky hand-mixed for a pop of custom color. As Babsky revealed on Instagram, he had blended numerous pink, mauve and red lipstick hues together to get just the right shade for Comer, which stood out against her dazzling black sequin Giorgio Armani jumpsuit. Comer’s blush-toned look offered a cool yet sophisticated take on poppy color – and we’ll absolutely be copying ASAP.

IRL, Comer revealed that she tends to be a little more low-key when it comes to makeup. “I think my makeup look would be the [Noble Panacea] Radiance Resilience Moisturizer, Soap Brows, and then there’s a Westman Atelier lip palette with four shades of red in it,” she said in a recent interview of her everyday look. “For me, you can put that on your lips, you can put that on your cheeks, and I think that Villanelle is that kind of girl as well.”

Serving understated elegance on the small screen, on the red carpet and off duty – our kind of girl.
