Twenty years after they first started dating, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are finally wed.
The pair — who reunited last year after Affleck broke things off with Ana de Armas and Lopez ended her engagement with Alex Rodriguez — married each other in an intimate Las Vegas ceremony over the weekend. Lopez broke the news via her newsletter, describing the day as, “exactly what we wanted.”
In a move that felt a little off brand for one of the world’s most glamorous celebrities, Lopez upcycled an Alexander McQueen dress from one of her previous movies (according to reports, it’s from the 2004 film Jersey Girl — which also starred Affleck), alongside an off-the-shoulder Zuhair Murad lace gown from the Spring 2023 bridal collection.
As for the glam, Mrs Affleck didn’t stray from her usual bronzy, glowy, glamorous aesthetic. Interestingly, she did her own makeup — something she’s obviously quite adept at, based off the few images we have of the day. While there’s no word on exactly what was used to create the bronzed eye, flawless skin and glossy nude lip, we’re guessing some of the luminosity came courtesy of her very own JLo Beauty (coupled with her obvious happiness, it’s fair to say the bride was RADIANT).
*Editor’s note: If you squint in the below video shared by Appleton, there appears to be a Tom Ford Eye Palette on the vanity.
For hair, the Marry Me star called on her long-time stylist and friend Chris Appleton. Appleton shared a few images to Instagram of the day in question, showing off a half up-do and voluminous honeyed curls. Lopez wore a veil for the ceremony, so the pulled back section would have both framed hr face, and provided an anchor for said veil.
Tom Bachik generously shared the bridal manicure details by way of this incredibly sweet morning after snap. The taupe hue in question? Bio Seaweed Gel in Are You Shore.
While she looked every inch a bride, it wasn’t the big affair we would have expected from one of the world’s most documented couples. But considering their 2004 wedding was called off in part due to insane media attention, a Vegas wedding at the Little White Chapel seemed perfect. Congratulations, Bennifer!
