The perfect pairing to forge an unforgettable fashion moment in film, Jessica Chastain and Ralph Lauren have utilized their respective crafts to create a visual masterpiece with an indelible impact.

Hot off the heels of her last two projects Scenes From a Marriage and The Eyes of Tammy Faye, Chastain is serving us her next act in the new spy flick, Simon Kinberg’s The 355. Released today, Chastain appears alongside Hollywood heavy hitters Penélope Cruz, Lupita Nyong’o, Diane Kruger, and Fan Bingbing. With the leading ladies playing the top special agents from around the world, they’re forced to team up on order to combat a common enemy. Symbolizing the code name for George Washington’s first female spy during the revolution, the female-driven cast dresses to the nines throughout their sleuthing adventures.

Through a deal with Universal Pictures, American fashion designer Ralph Lauren has dressed several members of the powerhouse cast throughout the film, most notably the face of Lauren’s Woman fragrance, Jessica Chastain. While the Academy Award nominated actress can be seen in five different Ralph Lauren collection creations, there is one that stands out from the rest. While fishing for intel, Chastain’s character agent Mason “Mace” Brown dons an emerald green strapless silk evening gown cinched with a gold buckle belt from the iconic designer.

Not his first cinematic rodeo, Lauren has worked on movies dressing the most iconic characters from Diane Keaton in Annie Hall to 1974’s The Great Gatsby and Blake Lively in A Simple Favor. Obviously knowing what it takes to create a memorable fashion moment in film, Chastain’s latest stylistic spy flick will be no exception.
