Jennifer Lawrence is no stranger to Dior and has marked many special occasions wearing couture from the French fashion house. Her streak continued over the weekend when she stepped out at the 2022 Governors Awards in Los Angeles wearing a gown from the Spring/Summer 2023 runway. Styled by Kate Young, she wore an embroidered black tulle gown finished with Pandora jewelry.
The Hunger Games alum was accompanied by an impressive guest list including fellow actresses Margot Robbie wearing Bottega Veneta and Michelle Williams who also wore Dior. The Greatest Showman actress looked simply radiant in a Fall/Winter 2022 Haute Couture red silk chiffon dress embroidered with plant branches in beige thread and ganse braid, guipure motif inlays paired with Tiffany & Co.
The lavish affair was held at the Fairmont Century Plaza by the Academy of Motion Pictures Art and Sciences as a prelude to the Oscars in March. The annual event heroes exceptional talent in film with this year’s honorees including directors Euzhan Palcy and Peter Weir, and Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award recipient Michael J. Fox.
Lawrence’s appearance comes off the back of her new film Causeway where the 32-year-old served as the lead actress and a producer on the drama film. 2022 marks a decade since Lawrence was named an ambassador of the House across fashion and beauty. In 2018 she was named the face (or nose) of the brand’s first fragrance campaign since 1999.

Original floral motifs are emblazoned onto dinner and dessert plates, dishes, vases, as well as mugs and bowls.
