Fans can’t seem to get enough of Jennifer Aniston on the cover of Instyle‘s September 2021 issue. The Friends actress looks stunning, gracing the magazine’s pages for the vintage aesthetic shoot. As I scroll through the images in awe at Aniston in her warmly lit Los Angeles home, I couldn’t help to notice one stand-out look that looked all too familiar.
Aniston donned a dazzling Brown Gucci jacket and matching trouser set paired with a white button-up and white heels. If you’re getting deja-vu from this image, it’s because Harry Styles wore the exact same ensemble to the 2021 Brit Awards. Instead of a white shirt, the singer opted for a cream one and accessorized the look with a pair of comfy sneakers and a brown bag.

The vintage Gucci look clearly caught the attention of both Harry and Jennifer’s stylists. The look fits perfectly with the 70s themed shoot and Styles’ overall retro vibe oh-so-perfectly. As soon as the Instyle image was released on August 3, fans took to social media to share the Twinning looks. One Twitter user captioned the two photos with “Harry Styles walked so Jennifer Aniston could run” another, captioning the image “besties.”

A coincidence… potentially. In 2020 Styles was seen wearing a “Save the Drama for your Mama” tee identical to the one Aniston’s Friends character Rachel wore on one episode. To add, also in 2020, Styles mentioned “Aniston was his first celebrity crush” in an interview with Ellen DeGeneres. We can only imagine how the 27-year-old singer is feeling right now.
Aniston’s cover shoot features an interview by InStyle editor-in-chief Laura Brown. Aniston chats with Brown on her pandemic lockdown activities, staying optimistic through tough times, how Friends changed the lexicon forever, and what’s next for the iconic actress.
