Jenna Ortega looked ethereal on the 2023 Golden Globes red carpet, showing off her fresh auburn hair in a matching reddish-bronze Gucci gown.

The star is nominated for best performance by an actress in a musical or comedy television series for her portrayal of Wednesday Addams in the Netflix record-breaking smash hit Wednesday. Ortega donned a ruched Gucci gown from the Spring/Summer 2023 ready-to-wear collection with criss-cross cutouts, billowing sleeves and a cascading train. She teamed it with Jimmy Choo “Max” platform heels, styled by Enrique Melendez.

Ortega amped up the glamour in Tiffany & Co. jewelry, with layered necklaces including the Schlumberger Lynn diamond necklace, the T T1 diamond necklace and the Elsa Peretti Snake necklace. Ortega donned the Schlumberger Lynn bracelet, gold Schlumberger Flame earrings and a dazzling assortment of rings.

The ensemble perfectly complimented Ortega’s shaggy new wolf cut and freshly-dyed auburn tresses.

Typically channeling the goth glam style cues of her iconic character, tonight’s award ceremony marks a divergence for Ortega’s fashion sense.

During a chat with E! on the red carpet, Ortega spoke of Wednesday’s success. “We spent so much time on this show and worked really hard on it so if anybody has received any sort of joy or happy feeling from it, that makes me very happy,” she said.

She also discussed the growing representation of the Latino community saying, “I’ve been doing this for over a decade now, so I feel like I’ve watched Hollywood gradually open up its doors and see more Latinos or Latinas in leading roles.”

She added, “I feel very fulfilled.”

Netflix announce last week that Wednesday has been green-lit for a second season. So no doubt, much more to come from Ortega.
