Euphoria actor Jacob Elordi celebrated his new gig as the face of TAG Heuer’s Monaco watch, by attending the brand’s star-studded event at the 79th Formula 1 Monaco Grand Prix in the Principality over the weekend.

The Swiss luxury watchmaker has been the Official Watch of the Formula 1 Monaco Grand Prix since 2011 and gathered Grey’s Anatomy’s Patrick Dempsey, Bridgerton’s Simone Ashley, influencers Leonie Hanne and Caroline Daur, as well as model Ella Emhoff, for the motorsport race.

Hosting the star-studded attendees on the Jacques Cartier ship, TAG Heuer docked in the Port of Monaco for the event. Reigning F1 World Champion, Max Verstappen, was also in attendance where he was presented with a personalized TAG Heuer Monaco chronograph with a special red “1” on the dial and case as a nod to his #1 racing number for 2022, following his victory last season.

TAG Heuer’s CEO Frédéric Arnault said in a statement, “We couldn’t be happier to be back in Monaco for the most exciting race on the calendar, honoring our historic ties with the Principality and supporting our partner since 2016, the Oracle Red Bull Racing Team, as they take on the challenging city circuit.”

Arnault continued, “Monaco is a special place for TAG Heuer, the inspiration behind our most emblematic chronograph, and a track where we have lived through some of the most thrilling racing moments over the decades, in Formula 1 of course, but also Formula E or the Historic Grand Prix. Once again, we are proud to gather our closest friends and partners for an unforgettable weekend around our shared passion for motorsport.”

During the festivities, A-listers were serenaded by the likes of Belgian singer-songwriter Claire Laffut, DJ and radio host Giulietta Canzani Mora (aka Piu Piu), and Belgian DJ Lost Frequencies.

Before the evening came to a close, TAG Heuer illuminated the night sky with an imaginative drone show, illustrating signature TAG Heuer styles, like the square-shape Monaco timepiece and outlines of the Principality’s winding F1 track.

Also on display aboard the TAG Heuer yacht, was the weekend’s coveted trophy (the official Trophy Travel Case of the Formula 1 Grand Prix de Monaco), which was situated in a custom, hand-crafted Louis Vuitton trunk.
