Another Hollywood romance bites the dust. After just three months, Irina Shayk and Tom Brady have allegedly called time on their rebound romance, joining a heap of fellow famous couples that didn’t survive 2023.
As first reported by TMZ, the genetically blessed duo are no longer spending time together, with multiple sources then confirming the news to People. One insider shed some light on the split, explaining that keeping the romance alive was difficult due to their work schedules, which kept them from being in the same city.
“Irina was very attracted to Tom. She liked dating him. It excited her,” one source told the outlet. “They had fun travelling to see each other. In the end, it kind of just fizzled.”
While Shayk is based in New York City, where she’s been raising her daughter Lea, 6, whom she shares with Bradley Cooper, Brady is now setting roots in Florida.
“They both keep having obligations, and it was getting more difficult to be in the same city at the same time,” People‘s source continued, adding that the two still care for each other. “Irina has nothing but great things to say about Tom.”
Another source added that there was “no drama” between Brady, 46, and Shayk, 37. “It just fizzled out,” they explained. Though the pair were spotted together just last month at Brady’s apartment in Tribeca, chances of anything more serious are unlikely.
The star quarterback, fresh from his divorce from Gisele Bündchen after thirteen years of marriage, initially met the supermodel at a wedding in Italy back in June, where he allegedly invited her to meet up with him in Los Angeles after hitting it off. The two first sparked rumours of a budding romance when they were pictured looking close in a car following a night together, and then again when they spent 48 hours “holed up” together at a hotel in London.
It’s a shame to think about what could’ve been. But with all the recent breakups sweeping Hollywood, there’s certainly plenty of fish in the sea left for both of them.
