Halsey has shared a sweet new picture from their pregnancy, admitting that they “miss” their belly. The singer and boyfriend Alev Aydin welcomed their son, Ender Ridley Aydin, in July with Halsey sharing the news on their Instagram page with the caption: “Gratitude. For the most “rare” and euphoric birth. Powered by love. Ender Ridley Aydin.”

Now, the mom-of-one has shared a throwback picture to her time pregnant, rocking an unbuttoned Hawaiian shirt to reveal their bare baby bump and a pair of low rise jeans.

“My fav belly pic I never posted. Miss it already!,” the artist wrote alongside an emoji of a fried egg. Revealing on Instagram his birth, Halsey added accompanying images that depicted the new family curled up together in the hospital, alongside another shot of Halsey breastfeeding baby Ender.

Celebrity friends flooded the comments to congratulate the couple on the new arrival. “The most beautiful family! Congratulations,” wrote Olivia Rodrigo, as Katy Perry called little Ender “the blessing”.

The name ‘Ender’ is said to be of Turkish origin, meaning ‘extremely rare’ – which explains Halsey’s Instagram caption on her “rare” birth.

The pregnancy was a profound experience for the singer, who has been open about the struggles they experienced. The 26-year-old also revealed that their upcoming fourth album, If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power, was inspired by the experience of pregnancy, which is reflected in the album artwork.

In the image, first shared on Halsey’s Instagram on July 7, the ‘Graveyard’ songwriter sits atop a throne with her chest exposed and a baby on her lap.

“It was very important to me that the cover art conveyed the sentiment of my journey over the past few months,” they detailed in the caption.

“The dichotomy of the Madonna and the Whore. The idea that me as a sexual being and my body as a vessel and gift to my child are two concepts that can co-exist peacefully and powerfully.”
