Hailey Bieber‘s debut skincare brand, Rhode (named after her middle name), finally hit the market on June 15. It launched with three products that are meant to leave skin dewy, glowy, and looking like a glazed donut. (You read that right.)

Rhode currently features three products made of natural, vegan, cruelty-free, environment friendly products that are under $30, according to the brand’s website. Bieber spoke to WWD, saying, “When we were developing the formulas, the labs said they were $100 formulas, but that’s exactly what we’re trying not to do,” she continued, “Expensive skin care formulas should be accessible.”

Bieber created products designed to hydrate and restore the skin. Rhode currently features: A Peptide Glazing Fluid, Barrier Restore Cream, and Peptide Lip Treatment. She compared the end result of using these products, especially the Peptide Glazing Fluid, to a glazed donut, saying to Byrdie, “Who doesn’t want to look glazed and dewy from head to toe?” Adding, “I want to look bitable.”

The products are packaged using upcylced and recycled packaging. When clicking on an item, the Peptide Glazing Fluid for example, the website shows the exact packaging components: the carton is made from 100% recyclable paper, while the bottle and cap are made of PP#5 (a type of plastic) that is composed of 30% post-consumer recycled materials. The pump is not made of recycled materials, but when you are ready to dispose it, there are also instructions on how to recycle. (Rinse out the empty bottle and cap before recycling.) Rhode also provides the option to send back three empty containers to be recycled for free with a shipping label upon request.

There are a lot of other celebrity beauty and skincare brands out there, (Kim Kardashian just annouced SKKN), but Bieber told Byrdie: “In a world full of beauty brands, I think one that’s affordable with great formulas that will bring a vibe to your bathroom speaks for itself.”

Her bathroom skincare routine has always been important to the star, adding, “I’ve always loved the ritual of skincare. It’s a big part of self-care to me.”

Bieber will be joining YouTube’s second annual Beauty Festival which begins on June 16 through 17 and will be speaking about the new products as well as her routine.
