Headlines swirled yesterday when supermodel Gisele Bündchen was seen out in Costa Rica for a third time with jiu-jitsu instructor Joaquim Valente. Despite reports that the two have a “deep personal relationship,” nothing further has been confirmed. But these days, any move Bündchen makes grabs attention following her split from husband of 13 years, Tom Brady.

Yesterday, the model, 42, shared a quote on Instagram — but didn’t exactly set the record straight. After news hit on Wednesday that she was spending time with Valente, the model posted an ambiguous quote on Instagram along with a selfie of herself sitting in a field with plants covering part of her face. “Everything we hear is an opinion, not a fact. Everything we see is a perspective, not the truth,” ✨ she captioned it.

While it’s not clear if she’s referencing Valente, the timing came right after she made headlines… again. The two were first seen together in November just weeks after the news of Bündchen’s split. Then, Bündchen and Valente were out again in January and the internet went into another dive of speculation that they were a little more than just training partners.

On Wednesday, new photos showed the two taking a stroll together in Costa Rica. Bündchen was wearing an earthy brown bandeau bikini top twisted in the center with a bow, plus a sarong-style cover-up skirt. Valente was also dressed casually in a navy tee and green shorts.

Valente along with his brothers, Pedro and Gu, have been training both the model and her kids, son Benjamin Rein, 12, and daughter Vivian Lake, 9, whom she shares with Brady.

People previously reported that a source said, “Gisele adores and trusts [Joaquim] and has been spending a lot of time with him, but I don’t think it’s a traditional dating scenario. They have a deep personal relationship, and he is a teacher to her and the kids. Whether or not it will ever become more than that rests on the table.”

Bündchen recently shared another inspiring message on Instagram in early March, with a photo of herself doing yoga and opened up about how she deals with life when it “gets challenging.”

She credit a heathy lifestyle, which goes beyond a clean diet and exercise. “It’s about our attitudes, emotions, beliefs, thoughts and actions,” she wrote. “When life gets challenging always remember that the sun rises everyday bringing a new opportunity for us to try again and do better.”

She acknowledged that it’s easy to get distracted by noise but “awareness is key. What energy you are nurturing? Remember, we are the co-creators of our own reality, what we believe we create!”

In another (very scenic) post of herself meditating in a jungle-esque environment, Bündchen quoted Rumi writing, “The quieter you become, the more you can hear.”

Whether or not she ever confirms her relationship status, we’ll be keeping an eye on her social media channels for a little dose of inspiration.
