It’s been a minute since the Brazilian glamazon, supermodel Gisele Bündchen, was in the limelight in the modeling world. But the star is making a splashy, bikini-clad return fronting Burberry‘s new TB Summer Monogram collection.
An ode to the British brand’s house code of duality, the TB Summer Monogram collection brings two Burberry prints (the classic “Check” and the “TB Monogram”) into one to “symbolize the synergy of the past and present,” the release states.
There are trench coats synonymous with the brand, plus bomber jackets, silk dresses, cotton shirts, and of course, two summer staples — swimwear and sunglasses.
In the campaign, photographed by Luigi Murenu and Iango Henzi, Bündchen works her magic, striking a pose in front of unreleased portraits of herself, which the photographer duo captured a decade ago.
“I was so happy to see Riccardo again after such a long time and shooting with my sweet friends Luigi and Iango is always a blast,” Bündchen said in an official release. “It was so special spending time with everyone, we had so much fun on set.”
Styled by Suzanne Koller, Bündchen got her signature bronzy, beachy glow thanks to makeup artist Georgi Sandev. “To help this campaign come to life was truly an exciting moment for me as a make-up artist,” said Sandev. “Riccardo Tisci has always been an inspiration for me and working with him made me really see why he is one of the most gifted designers of our time.”
If you’re not inspired to pair your bikinis with sweaters, heels and boots after seeing Bündchen give it a go in the ads, then you might need to get a little more excited for the coming season.
