Gigi Hadid has marked the occasion of her baby daddy Zayn Malik‘s 28th birthday by throwing him a fun-filled party in their home. Hadid surprised Malik by turning their garage into a games room, complete with retro arcade games, cartoons, and miniature cut-outs of Malik’s face.
“Team No Sleep! Happiest birthday to our Zaddy baba. So special,” the model wrote in a sweet Instagram tribute to her boyfriend. “Love you long time, thank you for makin me a mamma to the best girl ever ☺️ Wish you the best every single day.” The post also included an illustration of Malik with their baby girl, who is depicted shooting laser beams from her eyeballs. And now if we know one thing for certain, it’s that Hadid sure knows how to throw a birthday bash.
Like any good arcade party, the tables were fully stocked with every sugary confection you could imagine, including Nerds and gummies as far as the eye could see. Hadid also took it upon herself to order Malik a custom birthday cake from famed New York bake shop Carlo’s Bakery and giant superhero and space-themed balloons. Oh, and party hats with Malik’s face all over them.
The snaps offer a rare glimpse inside the couple’s life as new parents, having welcomed their first child together back in September. Hadid and Malik have kept their baby daughter out of the public eye, keeping her face covered during outings and refusing to confirm her name.
Hadid’s relationship with the singer has been notoriously on-off since they first started dating in 2015, with the pair enduring a number of widely publicized breakups. These days they appear content to live a much quieter and more private life, hunkering down as a young family between their New York City apartment and Pennsylvania farmhouse throughout the ongoing COVID 19 pandemic.
